A distinctive and unusual example with smooth bulbous wood handles and a small twisted link chain running approximately 14 inches — notably longer than the typical 9 inch chain found on most twisters of this type. The wood handle construction sets this apart from the standard iron or brass examples and points to either a regional maker or custom fabrication. Excellent condition.
