A rare and highly collectible pair of early Froggatt handcuffs in excellent condition, featuring very strong springs, a smooth brown patina, and an unusual single bent link. While there is no key with this set, Froggatt-style keys do occasionally come up for sale, making this an excellent opportunity for the serious collector.
Froggatt was a close friend of Houdini and is believed to have been instrumental in many of Houdini’s early escape challenges, crafting several “special” handcuffs for him — including the legendary Mirror Handcuff used in one of Houdini’s most famous escapes.
