For Sale: Original Field & Son Darby Handcuffs — Stamped "34, Field & Son" — Ca. 1800-1841
Field & Son (predecessor to Parker, Field & Sons after William Parker's death in 1841) is one of the most respected names in British handcuff manufacturing.
This example carries clear factory stampings — "34" and "Field & Son" — in excellent mechanical condition.
The Science Museum catalogues Field & Son marked iron handcuffs to the 1800-1841 range, consistent with this earlier singular-form stamp.
Comes with a reproduction key.

The Holborn street address is the strongest dating clue available — Museum Wales records manacles with this exact stamp dated 1842-1877, the period the firm operated from that address before relocating. Excellent mechanical condition with original key.
