[THIS IS A MUST HAVE IN ANY HANDCUFF OR HOUDINI COLLECTION]

Houdini Favorite and early career highlight was being the first person to successfully escape from the celebrated Bean Giant Handcuffs which carried a reward of $500.00 to anyone who could defeat them with both hands immobilized in this rigid cuff, because the key could not be put into the keyhole while a person's hands were in the restraint.

Houdini beat it and to the frustration of E.D. Bean wouldn't reveal how. The reward was rescinded however the young magician went on to become a legend.

OVERALL CONDITION:

This is a very rare restraint. It is the 1st model. The lock activation buttons work perfectly and the springs are strong. The cuff retains approx 85-95% of original nickel plating and comes with a working key.
